VATSIM's Iron Mic Award for the week of July 13th-19th saw some ZNY Facilities high up on the list and at the top of the list! Congrats to the ATC who helped ZNY do what you see below:

Approach/Departure

Top billing to Kennedy International (JFK)

3rd Place to Philadelphia International (PHL) with 43 hours 51 minutes

Tower

4th Place to Newark Liberty International (EWR) with 53 hours 37 minutes
10th Place to Lehigh Valley Intl Airport in Allentown, PA (ABE) with 35 hours 47 minutes
13th Place to Philadelphia International (PHL) with 31 hours 15 minutes

Center

7th Place to New York Center with 32 hours 20 minutes

ZNY Controllers:

Remember to visit your Controller Panel and click on "Contact Settings" to set your e-mail alias. Sending an e-mail to the address username@nyartcc.org will automatically ship the e-mail off to your real e-mail we have on file here at ZNY.

To set it up, go to your Controller Panel and click on "Contact Settings", fill in the information, click "Update", and your profile page will show username@nyartcc.org on your profile page and your Skype name (if entered) will appear there as well.

Remember the two rules:
1. Just like a regular e-mail, you can have NO SPACES in the username part. So, "joe smith" will not work; however, "joe_smith" or "Joe-smith" or "joe.smith" will

2. ANY profane usernames ill be removed
